If you’re interested in Cubit Select but you’re not quite at that level of using Cubit, don’t worry. We’ve got the people and resources on-hand to help you through learning and adopting both solutions into your business.
If you’re currently using SCP (Subcontractor Comparison Program) and Global Estimating together, you should consider whether moving to Cubit and Cubit Select is right for your and your business. Both Cubit and Cubit Select are designed to help you estimate efficiently and offer your business savings in both time and money. As with any new solution, it will take a little time to get up and running. If you’re not ready to start adopting Cubit and would like to say working with Global Estimating, that’s okay! Global Estimating and SCP are still supported by Buildsoft and you can continue to use them indefinitely.

Working with Cubit
Beyond having a practical working understanding of Cubit, you’ll also need to be running the latest version of Cubit Pro. This is to make sure your software is always up to date and the integration between Cubit Select and Cubit is working at its best for you.
To ensure you are using the latest version, you’ll need to have current software assurance cover. This will give you all the benefits of having the latest features and functions of Cubit through major and minor updates, as well as access to our dedicated support team.
Connecting to the internet
Cubit Select is an online solution hosted on the cloud. You’ll need an internet connection in order to log in and use Cubit Select. Cubit Select is optimised for use on Google Chrome as your Internet Browser.
One of the benefits of Cubit Select being an online solution is that you won’t need to install it onto your computer. You also won’t ever need to install updates; we update Cubit Select behind the scenes, so you’ll always enjoy the most up to date version of the software.
