As we quickly approach the halfway mark of 2018, I wanted to take this opportunity to provide you with an update on Buildsoft and how we’re shaping up into the future.
For 30 years, Buildsoft has been making construction easier and we’ve done that through the products we make and the services we provide. Where we are today and where we’re going tomorrow is largely shaped by the voice of our customers.
To that end, I want to thank all our loyal customers who’ve remained patient with us whilst we develop solutions that the industry - and ourselves - expect to lead the way in terms of innovation, design and ease of use.
I also appreciate all the feedback and suggestions from our customers who share Buildsoft’s vision of making construction easier through our products and services. How our customers work and what they are trying to achieve motivates us to be better everyday.
You would have recently seen some changes to our website and received messages about our brand new online platform,Cubit Select. We've worked with companies in the industry to develop and release a solution designed to make your work easier when comparing suppliers and contractors.
In addition to building our new platform, we’re continuing to build our teams. We’ve recently moved our headquarters to a new office to accommodate for our growth and to allow for better collaboration of ideas and implementation across our teams. As of this month, Buildsoft has 49 talented individuals who also share in Buildsoft’s vision… and we have plans to bring more people onto our growing teams soon.
We’re enthusiastic and motivated by what’s ahead of us. And whilst the bulk of research and development investment is being directed towards new technologies in Cubit and Cubit Select, it’s only natural that our customers who use our other software solutions - Global Estimating, Offsider Estimating & SCP - have concerns over their direction.
I want to reassure you that Buildsoft has no plans to discontinue development and support for any of these solutions. We understand they set a standard and laid a foundation for success in the construction industry. I hope this gives you confidence that we see these solutions still play a big part within the industry.
Which brings me back to how we’re shaping up into the future. We’re expanding on what we’ve produced. We will continue working on big, exciting and new ideas that continue to lay a foundation for success in the industry. We will continue working with you - our customers - to listen to your feedback and bring you solutions that help make construction easier. Above all else, we are looking forward to being with you on your journey.
