Following the release of our highly anticipated collaboration features, we’ve been working hard to deliver further improvements to the way you use Cubit Estimating to collaborate on your jobs. Our latest release - Cubit Estimating 2022 delivers you a better experience using the software, from simply opening jobs to sharing work with your team, empowering you to work more efficiently than ever.
Earlier this year we introduced Shared Job Access – a way for multiple enterprise users to contribute to any Job, while also protecting shared data from being changed when you don’t want it to be.
Delivering further on this exciting collaborative functionality, we’ve been working to deliver a smoother and more natural workflow and are pleased to introduce Auto-Lock.
This new addition makes your multi-user experience more intuitive by automatically locking your trades and corresponding takeoff items while you’re working on them. There’s no need to spend time pre-preparing your trades or manually setting up a job to share it with your colleagues; and while you’re working there are no interruptions to your workflow. Just open a Job and start working – it's that simple.

Delivering a smooth experience as you use Cubit Estimating is an important part of the ongoing work we do. With the addition of major advancements, such as Multi-User Collaboration, sometimes loading and processing times can increase. In this release, we’ve introduced a range of improvements to make your work faster and more efficient.
Opening Jobs and loading the Job Manager are now significantly quicker, and you can expect to experience loading times up to 3 – 5 times faster than the previous version of Cubit Estimating. We’ve also improved the speed of refreshing a Job in the shared access mode, so our enterprise customers can more quickly see any newly made changes.
