Danny has come back to us after a year away exploring the world of earthworks estimating software. It’s great to have him back with us to help shape the way our customers experience our software.
Role: Product Manager
What does a Product Manager do?
A Product Manager can be a lot of different things for different industries, and even within the same industry. At Buildsoft, Product Managers are experts on the software and are responsible for defining and designing features and improvements. Product Managers work across the business and very closely with software developers to make the solutions we produce are as great as possible.
What are some of the challenges you face in your role?
The construction industry is so vast, and as such our software solutions are used across multiple different businesses; from sub-contractors, through residential builders and to commercial construction. One of the biggest challenges is designing the right solution that benefits as many customers as possible.
What do you love about working with the team at Buildsoft?
The team space is bright and exciting, with so many fun things happening week-to-week. From inter-department Table Tennis competitions to group barbeques and monthly celebrations for birthdays. It’s always bright and fun at Buildsoft!
