Following the release of our highly anticipated document management and supplier invitation features earlier this year, we’ve been working hard to deliver an even better experience as you manage your workflows.
We’ve now added document versioning, automatic invitation status updates, and independent closing times for your Trade Packages.
The ability to store and distribute documentation associated with your jobs is an essential part of the bid management process; and functionality to allow you to do that was added to Cubit Select earlier this year. We’ve received your feedback on your experiences using documents with the software, and the need for some further functionality.
To help enhance the way you work with your job documentation, we’ve added the ability to easily manage different versions of your documents within Cubit Select. You can now replace a document with a newer version and have that updated across your Trade Packages. It will also be updated in your Supplier Portal, so your suppliers will always see the most up-to-date information to use as the basis for their quotes. You’ll be able to see a version history of your documents, and have the option to download, remove, or restore previous versions.
Cubit Select’s ability to invite suppliers to quote on your jobs has now been further enhanced, with the introduction of automatic invitation status updates.
Now when you send your suppliers an invitation to bid, they will have the option to immediately indicate whether they will accept and provide a quote, or decline the invitation. Once an option has been selected, the status of your invitation will automatically update, saving you from having to manually go into each Trade Package to change the status.
Your supplier will also receive an email confirming their choice to accept or decline your invitation; which they have the option to go back and edit at any time.
Managing your supplier quotes to create an accurate estimate isn’t easy, and means you’re dealing with a many moving parts simultaneously. To help you manage your workflows we’ve introduced the ability to set a date and time for when you expect bids to be returned for individual Trade Packages.
This enhanced functionality gives you the ability to control your timelines to be more flexible, so that they better match the way you work.
You can set closing dates and times from within your Trade Package, or during the process of inviting your suppliers to bid.
