Cubit Select Update: September 2024

We’ve been hard at work making Cubit Select an even more efficient and intuitive tool for business, investing in upgrade...

Cubit Estimating 2024 : July Release

Written By David Cartwright

Our newest update to Cubit Estimating has arrived with a variety of new features, including enhanced pricing insights, a faster way to delete Items in bulk, and multiple improvements to performance.

Gain a better understanding of your estimate at a glance with enhanced pricing insights.

Responding to customer feedback, we’ve developed two new columns that can be added to your Estimate Sheet to offer you valuable insights into your pricing - the Markup Value column and the Cost Total column.

The new Markup Value column offers insights into the dollar value of the markup applied to Composite Rates, Trade Items, Headings, and Trades. This is a useful compliment to the already existing Markup column, which displays markup as a percentage.

The new Cost Total column shows the costs before any markup is applied, so you can compare and review your pricing at a glance within the Estimate Sheet.

Update your estimate faster with the new Rapid Bulk Delete function.

Again, responding to customer feedback for a faster way of working, we’ve developed a new delete function that speeds up the process of deleting a large number of Items from your Estimate Sheet. You’ll be able to choose whether you want to use the rapid bulk delete function or the regular delete function when you go to remove a large data set.

You can also tailor this feature with a customisable threshold setting, so you can adjust volume of data being deleted that will trigger the bulk delete action being available.

Enjoy better performance across a range of areas.

We’re always working to make Cubit Estimating as smooth and easy to use as possible. As part of this release, we’ve introduced a range of performance improvements, including enhancing the way plans are rendered and displayed, the speed of locking and unlocking Trades in shared access mode, refreshing jobs with many Trades, and a more responsive user experience.
