Establishing data efficiencies for quicker estimating in Cubit Estimating

Course Overview:

This virtual short course is for those who already understand the basics of Cubit Estimating and have a practical understanding of the software. It provides the skills and knowledge you need to be confident with some of the more complex features of Cubit Estimating, and make your estimating process faster and more accurate. 

This course covers elements from our Cubit Estimating Intermediate Classroom Training to give you the skills to create more detailed estimates and increase your speed and efficiency with the software.

Outcomes:

• You will understand how to apply rate codes to your Jobs and Price Lists
• You will be able to re-sort your data for better analysis or to create trade packages to send to Cubit Select
• You will be able to create and update rate data using Price Lists
• You will understand how to reference other cells within a Job, a different Job or Price Lists to improve efficiency where the same data needed across different parts of an estimate
• You will understand the Constants tables and how to use the data within these tables as factors for recalculating items
  
  

Pre-requisites:

You should have already completed our Cubit Estimating Fundamentals Classroom Training, or both the Natural Estimating 101: An Introduction to Cubit Estimating and Producing Estimates in Cubit Estimating virtual short courses. 

You should be familiar with Cubit Estimating and it’s basic functions and features, and be able to create an estimate and perform quantity takeoffs.
