4 Level Estimating
BUILDING AN INDUSTRY FROM THE GROUND UP
The four level estimating system has proven to be very successful and simple for the first time user. There are four estimating sheets that are very similar to manual estimating methods currently used.
Level 1 - Job Summary
This sheet summarizes your estimates. It can contain a list of trades, building components or even a list of erection stages. The choice is up to you.

Level 2 - Trade Breakup
This screen contains all items associated with the trade selected. The basic calculation of Quantity X Rate = Amount is done here. Item Mark-Ups can be applied.

Level 3 - Calculation Sheet
This screen allows you to enter dimensions as you take them off the plan or use the digitizer to calculate the quantity.

Calculate wastage factors as a % of the overall quantity value. Software automatically adjusts wastage amount if quantity is changed

Level 4 - Rate Breakup Sheet
This screen allows you to build up composite rates that may include materials, labour and sub-contract components.
| Composite rates can be built up e.g. door, jambs, hinges, labour etc. |
| Waste percentages can be applied |
Apply cost centre codes to items. EG: L for Labour, M for Materials, P for Plant, S for Subbie to calculate the overall $ value of these costs to an individual job
